Championing Team Member Projects

STAT is collaborating with its team members to promote and develop other projects that are in alignment with its goals and strategies and can benefit from development of the Green Checklist, the Green by Degree Toolkit and the Green Concierge Interactive Kiosk. These include:

  • The Flagstaff Green Map – The Green Map plots green businesses as well as all environmentally and culturally significant resources of the community. The primary objective is to promote environmentally responsible businesses. The map provides both citizens and visitors of the community with a greater awareness of environmental choices in Flagstaff. Project leader: Stacey Hamburg. Download side 1 of the Green Map here.
  • Native Artisans Trails Network – A new project in development by Coconino County Community Services is modeled after North Carolina’s Craft Heritage Trails Network. This network will promote authentic contact between visitors and Native American artists and craftspeople. Project leaders: Verna Fischer/Scott Newman
  • Route 66 National Scenic Byway designation for Arizona. This initiative to establish Route 66 as a National Scenic Byway is being developed in collaboration with the National Scenic Byway Resource Center in Duluth, MN. Project leader: Sharlene Fouser, Historic Rte. 66 Association
