Actions in Progress : Inventory Attractions

The first step in fostering more sustainable tourism is to develop an inventory of existing activites and businesses in eco- , civic, cultural and historic tourism, and adventure travel.

  • Develop a systematic database of sustainable tourism businesses.
  • Set criteria for inclusion in the database.
  • Develop a management tool for the database.
  • Evaluate the sustainable tourism potential of each type of attraction.
  • From this inventory develop a list of activities and attractions that could add to the currently available offerings.
