Resources and Opportunities : U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)

The Northern Arizona Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has recently been formed. USGBC is a coalition of building industry leaders working to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life. More than 9,000 member organizations and 75 regional chapters advance the mission of transforming the building industry to sustainability.

The USGBC Web site is the place to learn about the LEED Rating System, with informative PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and case studies, as well as full versions of the rating systems and LEED-Online sample credit templates. USGBC also offers LEED workshops for beginners and experts from every sector of the building industry.

For more information, please contact Northern Arizona USGBC Chapter President Carl Ramsey.
